You've probably heard that I "invented" or "coined" a lot of words or phrases now used in English. A lot of people think I created and used new words in my plays. However, this is only because these "new" words appeared in print for the first time in my works.
Some of the phrases I "invented" are:

-Elbow room (King John)
-Love is blind (Merchant of Venice)
-Knock knock! Who's there? (Macbeth)
-Naked truth (Love's Labours Lost)
-Fool's paradise (Romeo and Juliet)
Some of the words that I "invented" are:

-bedroom
-vulnerable
-zany
-uncomfortable
